I tried Thai Vegan for the 1st time

My friend took me to this place called My Vegan in Pasadena, CA, by the Arroyo Pkwy and California Blvd intersection after we went walking for an hour in the upscale San Marino area, looking at scenic homes that resembled hobbits’ houses in Lord of the Rings that we couldn’t afford (except they were made for regular sized folk).
So anyways, the food wasn’t bad at all—it was great! Plus it was only $7.95; I thought it was very reasonably priced.
I really enjoyed myself, and the “fish” made out of soy really tasted like fish. You can’t see it in the picture, but it even looked sort of like slices of fish meat a little bit. The sweet sour sauce was great, and everything was fresh. Topped with pineapples, tomatoes, sweet yellow pepper slices and onions, it was a real treat.
Ok, ok. I’ll confess—so I still had steak for dinner (my excuse: my fiance cooked, so I couldn’t refuse), but I’m definitely open to eating vegan food more often.
